I went to L.A Tint down here in Woodbridge,VA to get a quote for 25% rear, and 35% for the rest. I wanted to get the Premium one and the guy quoted me for $269. Is this a little too high or is this about right since I want the best quality tint put on...

 

Sounds very high to me, but I am not sure what type of tint you are talking about. I got mine dont at National Glass Tinting in Kensington, MD for $139. They have done 3 of my cars, and have always been happy with their work. They also have a location in Rockville. Both are probably a 45 min ride without traffic from Woodbridge.

 

It is Formula One Tint using their Premier version..

 

Hey stylez. Did they mention to you how they would handle the dot matrix in the rear view? If that price includes handling the dot matrix then its not that bad. LA Tint is probably one of the best places around and so is Formula One tint.

I have my dot matrix painted on which I paid extra for and my price including my tints came out to just a little less than what you got quoted on.

 

I got my back three 15% for a hundred dollars in Fresno, CA. Was a reputable place too, gave me lifetime warranty for anything that goes wrong with it.

 

i wouldn't mind paying $269 if they can do a perfect job on dot matrix area using high quality film.

i got my previous ride tinted there, so did my friend's two other rides. they do a good job at a great price.

 

Anyone in IL recommend a place for tints? Also, what % did you get? Harrassed by cops at all?
