Greetings G-philes
Hi,
I'm new here. I thought I'd try and introduce myself.
I came from growing up a bimmer-head and I finally convinced myself to buy something else. You can probably imagine how tough it is for me to know BMW's like the back of your hand and then kind of change interests. So please, ignore any dumb questions I may ask about these cars.
I noticed, while browsing the forums, that G drivers have more of a sense of unity. There is so much aggression within the BMW forums and such that I think the whole "BMW drivers are snobs" cliche is somewhat true.
Heh, although I bought a 5AT to get out of this whole tuning business, it feels as though if I hang out here long enough, tuning will pull me back in.
Its a pleasure meeting you all and I look forward to getting on your nerves.

I'm a former bimmer-head and don't regret getting the "G" one bit. I've had 320's, 528's and my last one was a 540i DINAN. Got sick of the shifting in the LA traffic and love the AT with the tiptronic capability. The interior is less the typical stark German look (I like the Japanese cars for the cool gadgets you get to play with).
Welcome and enjoy the forums.
