Is it just me or........(pic)

I've been looking at this site for a while, drooling and wanting this car sooooo bad....Thanks to the ex girlfriend screwing up my credit, it's almost impossible to get this car.....B!TCH..... anyway....someday...

here is my thought.....I know aot of people have this style grill (speaking mainly of the "open mouth look" but does anyone else think it makes this Awesome ride look like a honda civic?
<img src="https://g35driver.com/gallery/files/9/9/3/8/picture_867.jpg">
maybe it's all in my head but just wondering...not disrespect intended.
I envy everyone of you that has the chance to drive this daily...

thats the greddy front bumper and its not a grill.. if you look closley you see a fat fmic right there.. and you would realize that this car is very serious and way out of a hondas league plus if you know anything about cars you can tell the dif between a honda and the pimpest car ever! the g35 coupe!

I think he is talking about aftermarket Grills compared to the stock one. I agree I really do not like that Data System or Gialla grill without any logo. I think it cheapens the look a little. Are there any other ones out there?

maybe this wasn't clear enough.....

I am talking about the spot where the normal Slotted grill would be not the Big open part of the bumper near the bottom...just the top part.... I know cars....but I'm just saying it reminds me of of a civic...

i'm with you on the non-grill. it reminds me of my previous 99Civic Si. same color too!

btw, this particular Si is not mine.

The fit-up of many aftermarket parts looks a bit cheap to me. Notice the large hood gap and slight color difference.

This is neither a greddy front bumper or a gialla grill. It is the top secret front bumper which comes with the open grill that looks like the gialla.

I agree about the civic but to some point....definately looks better on certain colors. Look at this one.....bad azz minus the stickers of course!

I disagree with "grill looks like a civic arguement"....

I see why you say this, becasue a few of my buddies who know very little about aftermarket products were saying that my grill made my car look like a civic...however, most mods that "i" do are not for the masses, but for me and my tastes (jdm, custom, etc)...

So by adding a Data Systems grill, i wasnt trying to make the car look 'classier' or 'better', i just really like the clean-look of a custom grill along with the shaved logos on the rear...just my style.

That said, the stock grill is very nice and def doesnt need replacing for any reason other than style...

Bottom Line: Mod your car for YOU - Not for others.

Speaking of the Gialla grill, there's a group buy going on. I decided to jump on the group buy myself. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to keep the stock grill or go with the Gialla. I saw a pic of a black coupe with the Gialla and I was sold. Looks sportier.
