Props on the effort but personally, I wouldn't showcase stock calipers on a G35. The only color I would do is gloss black like someone mentioned with the Infiniti logo. The only car with stock calipers that looks good painted is the IS300 with the Lexus logo. I'm sure many would disagree but it's your car, mod as you please and just be happy.

Cause its "my" nice car and I wanted to paint them. End of story.

They look good to me....

Dont even try to match your Philips 6000k color to your foglights. Its a lost cause, I have tried PIAA extreme whites and PIAA plasmas and both are not even close....

JDM means Japanese Domestic Market. Should be made by Nissan.

can someone post close-up pics of their painted stock calipers? i'm interested in doing the same but have wondered whether it will look good with the textured calipers. will the painted calipers also have that textured look?

I also would never do that to the stock calipers, esp. not red. Black or maybe even a silver color would be the only possibility. They are way to small to showcase them like that in my opinion. IF you like it though, more power to you man.

Not sure about your state, but I'm guessing it's the same in all states - clear corners are also illegal. DOT regulations require an amber reflector on the front corners of all cars, not just an amber bulb. I know tons of people have them, and many cops don't care, but I've heard of people getting tickets up here for them, so just a heads up.

While the calipers do look smaller then the brembos, I still think that the performance of them is very good for a stock OEM brake setup. The pedal feel wasn't as good as the brembos that I test drove, but they sure feel like they would stop as well as them. A better set of pads and braided lines would really make the stock 05 brakes incredible!

And say what you want they are bigger then the non brembo 04 brakes as was stated earlier in the topic.
But on a side not I would do black myself, red is a little too flashy regardless of what kind of brakes they are. but thats my opinion, you did do a really nice job though.
