So here I was watching Lost on my DVR, I skipped thru the commercials but noticed something that looked like the G35 coupe. So I rewind then see it's a commercial for the Pontiac G6 Coupe hehehe.... The commercial made it look real similar to the G35 coupe, but after I looked it up online it's not as similar as I thought.

Anyone else think so? It was the rear that got me because they had the rear lighted only from the top.

 

available engines are 2 v6's. The better engine is a 240HP 3.9 HO V6... I wonder what the torque figures on that would be.

 

I thought the same thing when I saw the commercial.

 

it looks something like it... but not as sharp lookin... the attenna is in the front...

Looks like a cross between a Grand Am and a Toyota Solara.

It almost looks like a mix of every current two door car on the market.

Looks more like a Toyota or Honda, but not the G. GM thinks that they can please everyone and not offend anyone. That never works. A lot of folks are keeping a deathwatch for GM. Can a BK be far away? The G6, Cobalt & LaCrosse are not sellling well. They may be better cars than they've ever built, but you can't wipe out decades of crap with a few new models.

 

As for Pontiacs in general, I hate their front end and grille styling. The new GTO is a good example. They blew the opportunity to make a good looking car to go will that HP.

 

Its a Pontiac...that fact alone ends my interest.

I swear it was the commercial that got me! They had the black coupe with dim lighting and it was a direct rear view that looked almost like the G.

But yeah I agree now, it does look like a RSX+sterioids or a Solara... I guess I just had G-Vision because I think about it alot.
