2005 OEM 19" rims

So I just curbed my stock 19" OEM rims on my 2005 Coupe 6MT. They are the ones that come factory stock with the 6MTs. Does anyone have any tricks or suggestions on how to fix or polish this sort of blemish out? The only problem I see with polishing is that the rims have a factory clear coat on them already so polishing and grinding is going to give the rims a more shinny appearance where I've tried to fix them. Any help here? I'm pissed!
Thanks

Thanks for the links. Looks like a good project here. My only other question is, since mid 04, has anyone been able to find a wheel color that matches better? Additionally, I"m not sure where this guy got his Dupli-color wheel paint and filler primer, etc. Is this stuff available at your local Home Depot or Kragen?? Thanks... I'm going to shoot an E-mail out to Infiniti and my dealership salesman and find out how to get a hold of the paint they use to coat our wheels with!

I've been thinking about polishing the lips on the 05 rims. Due to the flat outer ring design I think it'll look very good.

pay for it to get fixed. hthere's a really good place in San antonio that'll do it for not so much (pronounced less than $100). if you're from Texas that's a good place to go. Ask a local collission repair place and they'll suggest someone good that's local.

You might have a problem getting them fixed. The stock 19's are forged rims, and the forging process creates issues when you try to fix them. If its just superfical damage, you could probably just touch it up with paint, post a pic maybe its not too bad.

Just go get them chromed. It looks great. Just saw a picture of chromed 2005 wheels .

I was thinking of getting them chromed already especially cause I have a black/black car and nothing looks better than chrome. However that still doesn't fix the damage that was done to the rim. It's significant enough that it took a chunk out of the concrete. I hit it lightly with a dremel tool today just to get most of the mangeled metal off of there. It looks better but there are some deep scratches. Man these rims are SOFT!! I'm def going to look into having them chromed though and how much weight it will add too... They are forged and are fairly light I think so I don't want to add too much more weight....
