Everything that could possibly rattle in this car eventually does. I laid down 100 sq ft of Overkill matting and Dynamatt extreame. I took off the reaview mirror all together, so I am rattle free.

I used Brownbead to sound deaden everything.
Now it is dead quiet everywhere.
It has been for the last 3 seasons.
Except the rear view mirror, which needs to be secured tighter.

CARTISH, and for the people who have rattle on sunroof shade, it happens if you slide open the shade all the way. One way to avoid is to not close it all the way, but just slide it back but not all the way, this way the rattle disappears.

Only rattle I've got is from the left driver's side vent. However, it is lessened when the vent is aimed towards the floor.

I took apart my rearview mirror. Just need a Torx wrench...size 20 I believe. Tore tiny bits and pieces of Dynamat eXtreeme (the black rubber part, removed foil) and put it where I saw parts (plastic, circuit boad, mirror) touching each other. Put it around all edges. PUt it back together, only the buttons rattle now! But it helped and so now, I just gotta figure out a way to prevent that from happening without having the buttons depressed.

Rear parcel shelf, or somewhere around that area (rear passenger-side pillar).

rear deck, passenger seat belt plastic part (i found if you put it down the rattling goes away) and of course the rear view mirror.

My 05 rattles at the driver side left vent and the driver side seatbelt guide area. But if it makes you feel better, my 05 TL rattles too, so it's not like the G is the only car in this price range that rattles.
