My guess is the color of the Mediterranean ocean OR the shade of blue in the Greek flag. You would think I would know this being Greek and all...

 

I can't say for sure, but the Infiniti Athens Blue is almost identical to the blue I saw on all the flags, posters, and paraphanalia when I was in Athens for the Olympics last year.

Hey Clokwork...was it worth it ordering from Grubbs....i mean for a 3.5 month wait...did you save that much off sticker? I am only asking because i'm planning on getting the same car as your buddy (Athens Blue...5AT)...

 

it actually was. It is definitely my cheap side coming out, but Out of the Door price compared to ordering it here (since they didnt have exactly what I wanted) would have been a $2000 difference and that includes shipping from Grubbs!

Overall, it was very much worth it. The only way my mind would have changed is if I wasnt so specific for what I wanted (see the sig )

2 things that Grubbs offers that they didnt here in VA (to my knowledge) is clear bra and the smaller Satellite antenna that goes on the trunk instead of the roof.

I don't think the fact that Grubbs was the source caused the majority of the wait

My wife and I live not to far from clokwork and she ordered her CPE 6MT from a local dealer just a few days after clokwork ordered his from Grubbs. We are getting our car a little cheaper than from Grubbs, but we are still waiting for a delivery date on my wife's.

yeah thats a really nice color. i see one sitting in our showroom everyday when i go to work. the first time i saw that color i was like, "OHHHHH I want that color!!!"

 

HAHAHAHAHAHA man, that thought was very well thought out. I was sitting exactly on the clear bra and made sure I had no abbrasive things on my pants.

 

Haha, yeah, plus he's sitting on the edge of his hood, which prevents the hood from caving in.

I'm always uncomfortable to see models sitting on the top of showroom cars

 

So yours came with the clear bra striaght from Grubbs? Man, they didn't offer me that option! I wish they did, I have to look around now for a installer. Nice color selection BTW.

 

Which dealer and what part of FL do you live in? There's always Alan Seligman (invincaman.com) and he's the MAN when it comes to clear bras.
