I have seen a couple of posts about people getting tickets for speeding excessivly, and have done some searches for this, but havent really found a thread. So i was wondering: What's the fastest youve ever driven, and what kind of car were you in?

I topped out at 112mph on the rt87 Northway in NY in my 94 Altima, the car could have gone faster, but I didnt think it was really necessary. I was pulled over later, but thankfully the trooper only got me at 90mph.

 

Theres actually been a lot of threads about this . I hit 138 and that was the Fastest ever, I hit 110 today and I think im done speeeding No ticket for me but one for my buddy

 

140-150 every weekend, but it's on a bike, out in the middle of some country roads, in BFE! No traffic, not many houses, and I take it up there pretty quick then back it back down on a straight. I would never do this on a bike or car on a populated road or major freeway.

 

I hit 140mph on the 5 freeway at about midnight. Earlier that day I got a ticket for doing 90. I figured my luck couldn't be that bad to get a second ticket.

 

145 in a couple diff cars... the G redlines 5th at about that speed... never tried continuing and accelerating past that in 6th... recently got a ticket going 106

 

140mph on H3... on a sunday afternoon... slowed down right away though... got scared...

 

120mph on a freeway that was blocked off a few miles behind me... in a stock toyota matrix... lol the engine was screaming

160 in my next door nieghbors car... i wasnt driving... crazy guy even let go of the steering wheel. (Benz 500SL, imported by plane)

 

143 in my G on 528 (Beeline) heading east at 2am.

I don't do that anymore though. I prefer to cruise around 75.

 

I've done 145 a couple of times in my old 300zx twin turbo. That was on a road that paralleled the interstate. I wanted to see what happened when you hit the limiter at 155, but I kept running out of road.

 

I hit a little past 155 twice on the speedo. Once on 95 north in NC and the other time on GW parkway just outside of DC. didn't feel limited just ran out of juice. I lived in Germany for years while with the army and I am used to speed. you can drive 180-220 kph (104-136 mph +/-)all day long, on some roads away from citys

 

in my g ive only done 125, but in my altima 3.5se i topped off at 143mph

 

137 mph on the 10 fwy at 2 in the morning while heading home from casino morongo.

 

hit 145mph with 1,000rpm to spare in a N/A '98 integra GS-R on 113 at 5am near davis cali . . . with witnesses . . . all kinds of mods (intake, throttle body, type-R headers, trust exhaust, vtec controller, high flow cats, ecu among other things) . . . hit 140mph stock '05 G35 6MT I-80 dixon night time . . . FUN!!!! . . . but no more for me . . . gets kinda scary =T
