Body Side Molding
Re: Body Side Molding
What most people are saying including me is that it's ugly and is mounted too low on the door panel to prevent most dings. Just my 2 cents but I don't think it's worth it. Peace.

Re: Body Side Molding
I ordered the body side moulding. Not necessarily for the protection, but because I think the car looks better with BSM.
Your best bet is to look at one with and without the BSM.

Re: Body Side Molding
I ordered my DG/G non-aero w/o the mouldings but through dealer order error it came with them on. I left them on because I like the way they look. In person, the doors look a little too big w/o the m-lines as a break. Just a personal choice.

Re: Body Side Molding
No BSM for me. I prefer the look without, bro. So far no dings, but I'm pretty **** about where I park.

Re: Body Side Molding
I've ordered it for my IP coupe but not sure if I'll keep them on. I didn't mind the look on white and will take any level of protection I can get. But, like GSM, am more than willing to park in the back 40 to avoid a ding so could be a near non-issue. ...dean

Re: Body Side Molding
I don't like the look with BSM. However, I have the luxury of taking two parking spots at work
, and I don't take my car to any shopping places.

Re: Body Side Molding
Most high end vehicles don't have body side mouldings. If you want a clean look, the bsm are not recommended. At first I was also considering mounting bsm on my brilliant silver G35C 6sp. Not only that, I wanted the splash guards too. But after a month, I preferred the clean look of the orginals lines of the vehicle. Therefore no bsm and no splash guards.
Re: Body Side Molding
I think they actually look good mounted on there. Wish I Could see a black coupe with the BSM's. Anyone know the cheapest place to get them, and are they mounted w/ 3m tape?

Re: Body Side Molding
Hey Guys...I have been indecisive about adding BSM to my coupe......I've seen em with and without, both versions look fine to me. I do not beleive on our door profiles the BSM's will be that protective......so all of us with no BSM's just be careful and aware of where you are docking your machine and whats around you.

I believe it is two sided tape. I just hope they're are not too hard to get off if l don't like the look.
