Get a TL. Its a better buy IMO. You get everything for alot less and I think it looks way better....The performance numbers aren't bad either and the reliability is slightly better.

Sell the Highlander and go for the M45! That is one mean sedan.

Actually, the reliability is worse on the TL. Consumer reports only gave the TL an "average" which is what the 3 series got. The G35 had an above average in reliability. I bet the M35/M45 will have better reliability because the higher end sedans tend to be made better.

Personally I like the M35 Sport. The Acura RL is garbage IMO, I would rather get the TL over the RL, then again I'd get the G35 over the TL and the M35 over the G35.

M35>GS300>G35>TL>RL

300C, not really into domestic cars so I don't know.

Sedan Comparo
Quote: I want your opinions. After having my G35C for over a year now I've sort of fallen in love with the Infiniti lineup. To make a long story short, my wife wants a 4 door sedan. After looking at the 530i, Chysler 300C and the Acura TL I dropped by the dealership and saw an M35 last. I simply feel in love....Does Infiniti know that they're killing me and my wallet. Anyway...the choices are down to the M35 and the Acura TL. I would love to have another Infiniti but in automatic sitting next to my Coupe. After receiving my Road and Track in the mail and seeing how the M45 destroyed 6 other sedans in a test I think my mind is already made up. The 45 is a little pricey with all the bells and whistle but then again...This car will not be a racer. M35 should suffice just fine. What is your choice if you had to choose?

Well the M45 just kicked some as* in the latest car and driver:
8. Jaguar S-type 4.2 VDP edition
7. Cadillac STS V-8
6. BMW 530i
5. Audi A6 4.2 quattro
4. MB E350
3. Lexus GS430
2. Acura RL
1. Infiniti M45 Sport

It said the only reason the BMW is so far back is cause it had the lowest 0-60 times, since its running against pretty much all V8's. dunno why they didnt test a 545. would have liked to see that match.

I believe they capped off the prices at $55K, so neither the Mercedes or BMW could qualify an 8 cylinder vehicle. I'm sure both these German brands would have performed well, but they do require the highest premium. I think it would be interesting to throw tham into the comparison mix so consumers can compare them directly and see if the extra cost would be worth it. The M45 certainly had the value going for it though as it performed the best in the driving tests, yet came in nearly $4K below the $55K threshold.

Take the M35 sport, no question. It's one step up from the TL and you'll probably pay a bit more, but in Infiniti's case as we know it, you get some nice bang for the buck. Plus, not to mention the M's RWD vs. the TLs FWD....
