Here are some quick pictures of my Evo and my father's G35. I was home this weekend to help finalize his LED makeover for the car. Interior lights, puddle lamps, glovebox, trunk, signals, clearance lights have all been converted. Most of the light housings are custom fabbed using a lot of surface-mount LEDs. These particular units have ratings of over 15,000 mcds. I completely neglected to take pictures of the final installs. The one finished product you can see here are custom sidemarkers. These are heavily modified commercially available sidemarkers. Each unit houses 10 superbright LEDs and looks stock. Check out these pictures for now. I'll try to get him to post interior/exterior shots later on.

I bet the owners think so too! haha. We went for a cruise on some twisty roads and found this dead end. It's hard to see from the pics but NYC is off in the horizon. I was taking pics trying to have a scenic background but shooting into the sun messed up the shots. when i shot from the other angle the gorgeous, and no doubt expensive, houses were in the background. Its in NJ (Kinnelon or Towaco i think).

And yeah, Dad's a real cool guy...just a grown up kid. After the drive we worked on the cars and tore up a local baseball field with his Nitro-powered R/C truck. I have some videos of 360s, burnouts, brakeslides, and a rollover or 2.

 

man, those Evo8's are small! ive gotten so used to the G's size that these
scc's are so darn small.

 

nice combo.....to bad my old man is not around to see my "G"....rest in peace pop!

 

UPDATE--- LED CONVERSIONS...

here are the pictures and some movies...you can probably tell from the filenames which movies are which...there are some walkaraounds of the outside showing the converted LEDs (turn signals F/R, sidemarkers F/R, clearance lights, added sidemarkers) . and some inside shots of the dome lamp, puddle lamps, glove box and customized door reflectors. finally, there is a shot of the trunk with the custom LED bar (pre-aiming)

in the interior video you can see 2 blue flashes occasionally, he replaced the single red alarm LED with 2 blue LEDs, it looks awesome on the light interior.
