Headroom & Height
Headroom & Height
Hi guys/gals, while shopping for my G with my brother, I met one salesman who told me one crucial issue with headroom. Some people have long torsos. (Waist to Head) People are obviously built differently. I am 6' 2", 202 lbs and have a good amount of headroom, my brother who is an 1" shorter had less. He has a much longer torso than i the salesman pointed out.
I noticed everyone on the other post referencing there inseam, I just thought i would mention this because i did not factor the torso factor until I spoke with this saleman. So I am sharing what i learned.

Re: Headroom & Height
You are right torso height is the key. The reason that people mention inseam is that, it is the measurement we all know and understand; I don't have a torso measurement. I am 6' 2" and have a 32" inseam. I would presume someone that was 6' 2" with a 35" inseam would have roughly a 2 to 3 inch shorter torso. So that is why you see inseam mentioned.

Re: Headroom & Height
This a good point. I'm 6'-3" and my wife is 6'-1.5" and her torso is longer than mine. When we sit down next to each other, she is actually 1 inch taller than me. So when we go looking at cars she tends to have a little more trouble with head room than I do. We both sat in the G coupe and the room is sufficient for the both of us, and it's one of the first cars we both like alot.
