sorry dude, but... are you a girl? Not only did you get the Auto, but you get side moldings? I mean, I always see those things as "woman-aiders" as they are so ignorant about car care that they open up the doors as fast and hard as they can.

You dont even look fat as to need to have that extra protection... side moldings on G35C is a NO NO.

My G is IP/Stone. Wheat still looks great, but it's offered in almost all leather cars.

 

Mazel Tov on your graduation! Be careful with her at the start to break her in, and the only thing you need to do real fast is take those amber lights off and body side moldings off really fast. They take away the lines of the car.

 

Here we go again, the 6MT *****... you forgot to mention anything about his dad getting him the car, maybe because yours did too?

I love IP but didn't get it exactly because girls buy it, I also have a 6MT and am not a big fan of the BSM, I happen to have bought my car myself but does that mean that I have to attack the guy for no particular reason or impose my opinion as the only correct one? We all have the same car, the details DON'T matter, that's the way he WANTS his car to be. Why can't we be nice to one another?

The reason I got the Auto was because I just got a job out in Santa Monica, CA and the traffic is hell. I grew up with manuals and drove both the 6mt and the 5at at the dealer. For an 5at the thing is SWEET! Living in arizona now I could have gotten the 6spd but I know I'll be happeir in CA with the HELL traffic in the 5at. Plus the Man mode is REALLY nice for an AT

As regards to the body side moldings, I did not want them at first and my dad said it was the BSM or no car. Plus in the future I can take them off.

Both my dad and I are pilots so taking care of stuff is a major priority. Right now where I live guys in the beaters are likely to hit my door! 150$ for body side moldings is worth the hundreds for new paint or door.....

Glad everybody likes it for the most part (and some that think it's hidious with the BSM, thats fine too)

Welcome to the G35 IP Owners club, (not that there is one, I just like saying that).

Anyway, I too have a IP G35 hence my nick IPon6MT. The car is great, you'll enjoy it. I haven't stopped grinning since I got the dang thing, and it's only been 3 weeks.

Don't listen to these G owners that say the IP is a girlish color. They're just jealous that they went with the common DG color instead.
