Anyone else have the problem with the glove box light always being on? Even with the glove box closed, I can see the light on inside at night.

 

your glovebox light is always on (with the parking lights). to make it go off when the box is closed you'll need to install a momentary switch. we did this on my dad's G when he did the LED install for the glovebox. doesn't take very long at all.

 

I have a refrigerator with the same problem - I think.

Yes, the glovebox light is always on. I'm currently installing a PlayStation2 which will be under the glovebox and I've been driving the last few days with the glovebox off and the light is just hanging there lighting up the passenger side floor when driving at night.

 

i had that with my honda ... could be just be a japanese thing!

 

No worries on the glove box light, it will go off when the light switch is turned off or the lights go out automatically.
