I'm sure this same topic has been discussed throughly in the past...

But being that this is a G35 forum and we're all going to be a bit biased, get the G. You get both luxary and performance. The best of both worlds.

Depends on what you want out of the car...

Nothing but performance? Get the Z.

Think backseats might come in handy? Get the G.

It's alot easier to take 2 stripers from the club in a G!

+1

Sometimes I do wish I had gone with the G35 sedan for back seat. Then again, sometimes I'm glad to only have two seats.

We all DID buy G35s

I bought mine because of the backseat and the sunroof option. In addition I thought that it looked better. I wasn't opposed to the Z however the extra ponies didn't make up for the creature comforts I was looking for.

For me it came down to the price I would pay for insurance. My insurance payment on the G is over half of what I would have to pay for a Z car.

when i was shopping around for cars, i narrowed my choices down to either the 350Z or G35. i went with the G35 because of the creature comforts, as both cars are plenty fast for me. additionally, many aftermarket performance mods are compatible on both cars anyway.

haha so we have a korean here, g35sammy
some ppl cant make their own decisions so we gotta help him out!
anyways, i disagree with above ppl.
i got the G even though i dont need the back seat (never gonna use it )
my reason?
1.i like the way it looks (including the interior). i wanted a *luxury* car.
2.when you consider performance, G isnt as bad as Z. of course Z would be quicker than G because of the fact that it is lighter and etc.

i have more reasons and it's worth it! worth every penny!
overall nissan killed Z's interior even though it was supposed to be the *performance* car.

Let me break it down for you

If you want a sports car, get a Z

If you want a Lux car with a lot of kick. Get a G

It's really that easy, Actually you can hook up a G and have both!

It pretty much bares down to how much people you wanna carry and how you you wanna carry them.
in my experience, the Z and the G on the circuit are near identical, the Z has a better edge because it has a shorter wheelbase. There has been topics whereas the G has a better drag coefficient with the aero package vs the 350Z. for the price of a base G you can get a Track edition 350Z, for a little more, you get the 35th anniversary Z. But for a little more, again, you could get the M35 sport.
