if thats the new model of GT-R
nissan/infiniti is screwed.
i bet that every single one of us is waiting for something different than 350z and G35 Coupe, including myself.
not just engine but overall!

All that is a picture of an autocross car; They are probably just testing engines in it.

Any "spy photos" will be worthless anyway. For major changes to a platform manufacturers almost always cover the car in false panels when doing outdoor track testing. (endurance, handling, etc)
Having seen a few after the fact, it is amazing how poor the "false car" looked when compared to the production release.

What's up with the ricer 2F2F 4ft. rear wing??
Is the GT-R a race version of what would be a more streetable GT? If so, then I can understand the wing. But if the GT-R is just the name for what is to be the new G35, then that wing's gotta go.
What's nice about the G35c is that it's a perfect balance between racer boy car and a gentleman's car, much like the M3.
Put that aircraft wing on the back and now it begins to look like just another ricer, screaming to all the vettes, porsches, and M3's out there, "Hey let's race!"
If the thing pushes 600hp, then fine, leave the wing because I'll need it when I become airborne, but if not, please replace it with something more tasteful.
Just my $0.02.

Supposedly that pic is of an upcoming GTR just doing some test runs in Germany...but they just used the current coupes exterior along with some minor exterior dressups...I believe the new GTR will never look like that...they were just testing the engine.

for all who think its a photoshoped image here's the edmunds link...

I belive this is the photo from Road & Track from ~Dec or Jan...
its the prototype at Nurenburg (I think) AWD and 450hp = fun. But with a 60-70k sticker, I'd pass and go w/the up coming V8 M3.
