Bose speakers-swap out?

Has anyone switched out the lousy Bose speakers? I did this with my Acura MDX, used Infinity speakers as a replacement. I'm disappointed with the sound and am thinking of getting improvements done.

Any good ideas? Is it easy to do yourself?

Check the audio video forum and then do a search. There are numerous posts about upgrades there.

I don't like the Bose sound either unless the volume is up around 20 or so. I may do a swap of the tweeters myself.

I swaped out the front (components) and rear panel peakers with MB Quart speakers and it really improved the sound quality of the Bose head unit.
