Front Tow Hook...

Hi,
I searched but didn’t find much. Would anyone know the bolt size for the tow hook in the front? The article that was written for the license plate mod is fantastic, but it specified a 5/8 bolt and it’s too small.

2005 g35c 6mt

Was supposed to pick my car up yesterday, but there were a few problems so I didn’t accept the car. Uhg..still waiting….

Thanks for any info you can provide.

I'm not sure of the size, but here's the dimensions of the actual bolt:

This forum rocks, tons of great people and info.

Thanks for getting me that pic. The bolts are so cheap I'll just buy a few different sizes (home depot) and brnig them when i pick up my car. Thanks for the pic though. I 'll let everyone know what size fits.

here's the link to the clip/plat mod

The tow hook bolt for the "05" is larger, it's a 22mm x 3.0 pitch thread. I've been looking for this bolt for a couple of weeks. So far I've come up empty handed. I've even tried to find a die to cut my own bolt, can find that either, but still looking. If I find either I'll make sure everyone knows what I find.

I may have a place for the bolt in the next town over. I don't have a number for them on hand .. But I'll cruise over there tomorrow and find out ... If so, I'll pick a few up and have some on hand for those who need them. I'll post tomorrow night & let you know. If you want one .. PM me now & let me know ....
