Most lightweight exhaust? And which exhaust is the tinniest(bright) in sound

In the market to get rid of stock exhaust but have a couple questions.

1st, how much does the stock exhaust weigh, and what aftermarket exhausts are the lightest in comparrison?

2nd, I want a loud exhaust that has a bright sound to it, basically something that fools the ear into thinking it is slightly higher pitched than it really is.

What say you experts?

Lightest will be be all titanium or partial titanium..The more titanium the more pricey..Top secret makes a full Titanium cat back..I think its like $3-4 grand U.S. If money is no object..

Basically I am looking for more bang for the buck, so I don't want to spend $2000 extra just to save 5lbs or so.

Any clue on the exhaust pitch question I had?

In all honesty, my main concern is the sound quality, then I will 'weigh' in the other issue

According to what you're looking for, you should probably check out the new HKS HI-Power true dual exhaust. Made out of Titanium, and is probably the lightest one you'll find.

This thread has some good info on it.

For "bang for the buck" I would go with the Fujitsubo.. Quality constriction, looks stock, sounds nice..no rice canister, not too loud. MHO

Also...How much do you want to spend? Cause again, the lighter it is most likely the more you will pay.. the Fuji is under 1 grand U.S... Where the Amuse R1 Titan catback is $2400 or so U.S. and the Top secret will be more.. Apexi makes a nice new dual cat back for the 350z..I saw one on ebay for like $600 U.S. or something..really nice, well priced, great company...

If money was no object..Personally I would do ALL titanium...headers, y pipe, cat back...and all Top secret..But yeah, that would probably be close to $10,000 U.S. haha!

Not wanting to spend more than $1500

Can that be easily retrofitted to a G35?

If you really want a good light weight exhaust, your going to have to spend at least $2000+. Amuse makes a full titanium exhaust for the G that you can practically lift it with one finger, and it sounds real good too. I think it sells for $2200.

This exhaust is not made of titanium, it's made of stainless steel. It's the tips that are made of titanium.

Sorry, my bad. I was under the impression that the whole exhaust is Titanium.
I've also been told that Fujitsobo is coming out with a Super Ti exhaust. Worth checking it out if money is not an issue...
