Offset
I don't have an answer but I am possibly buying used non OEM rims to be used for winter tires on a 2005 G35 6sp coupe. They were bought by the seller from tirerack for a coupe.
The size of the rims, I think, is 17-8 with an offset of +35. The problem of fitment may be in the front wheel, which has a tire width of 235.The brakes are not a problem. The problem may be the strut clearance. I checked the difference compared to the 17" wheel of the 2004 coupe, and with the different offset, 30 vs 35, and the 10mm wider tire, the tire will be 16mm closer to the strut behind the tire. I've heard that the G35 OEM coupe wheels will fit the 2005, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any insite on whether the 17-8 +35 will work on the 2005 6sd coupe?
