Vortech Install at Home
Vortech Install at Home
Well folks, I'm going to have the Vortech Supercharger installed at a shop just a little North of Boston. Unfortunately they are booked until the end of June. here's my question. I'm pretty mechanically and electronically inclined, I have a lit of tools available and a hydraulic lift (if needed) at my uncles gas station. Will I be able to do the install by myself in like 3 days?? Then I'll flatbed it to the dyno so they can tune it. what's the possibility of the install??
Thanks guys!!

pm G352NV he just installed a vortech about a month ago. Also the tune that comes out of the box is safe run the car. You can beat it and no problems. You want to tune it so you can get all the power out of it. Out of the box you should put down 330rwhp and tuned like 380rwhp.
Thanks for the response guys, I'll have a few people helping me out. Sometimes the guys get annoyed when i nag them and pull them from their other jobs, LoL. I'm pretty confident about most of the install except 3 parts...replacing the fuel pump, hooking up the fuel managment system and mounting the intercooler. Any modifications or fabrication needed?
Thanks again!!
