Lightbulb Z-tube + K&N Drop in (stock airbox) vs. Z-tube + Stillen airbox and cone filter

Anyone has any input regarding these two setups?
Which one would you go for? Obviously they both feature an enclosed airbox...

What do you think?

You're going to get 50/50 votes on both.
Somebody recently posted a thread poll that asked for people to vote on their favorite intake mod. If you can find it, it may help you answer your question!

I heard that the 1st option yeilds better results for low-end although still marginal. I heard the second option gives you more high end but reduces low end.

Like any other mod, if someone has it on their car it is going to be the best....color works under the same formula.

On a serious note, I recall several threads that discussed this last year......this was at the time that the Pop-chargers were all in vogue but losing favor due to some cars stalling when downshifting at high rpm's or in hot climates. The summary of the threads were that the G35 coupe has a pretty efficient intake as it is. Someone enlarged the "power duct", making sure to seal it from pulling in heated air and this was to make it more like the Stillen.....they seemed to feel that this gave good results. The Stillen does incorporate a venturi ring that is supposed to help speed the air up at higher rpms.....however, I have not seen any data that seperates Fact from Marketing Hype for this.
