- you open the glove box and use the switch to the left of the actual box

- you give the shop the valet key

Of course they can reach down under the rear seat and pull the emergency red tab and open it via the rear seat back

take your valuables out of your trunk. What if they need access to the trunk while working on your car?

flip the switch in the glovebox, lock the glovebox with your key, then give them the valet one

same old nyckid lol anyway i wouldn't leave anything valuable in there at all... if you have to make sure you write everything down and take inventory of whats in the car and check everything once you get it back...

Nevermind all that... Keep your valuables somewhere aside from your trunk. There is a lever between the seatback and the seat cusion if you reach your hand into the gap. It's a red tab that will unlock the back seat from the cabin of the car. There is no lock to that.

In conclusion, Keep your valuable somewhere else because there is NO WAY to lock your trunk from someone who has access into your car.

My dealership says they may need access to the trunk, so it's best to not leave any valuables in there (or anywhere else).
There's always a way into the trunk, with or without a key.
