When I got my Prelude, I did not get the spoiler....and for more than 5 years I have regretted it eversince .....my G has the spoiler and I personally think it just completes a super awsome car....a G coupe without a spoiler is jast plain RAW

i got mine originally without a spoiler but added the aero package later. IMHO it looked classier without the spoiler and like more of a sports car with it.

as for the swear filter, get your head out of your ass and de-select it in the user control panel.

i prefer it w/o the spoiler. it looks so much more sleek, especially when it's black, with black tint. everything flows well

like many others, i think the coupe looks better with a spoiler on the darker colors and not as good on the lighter colors...but what every coupe MUST have is the OEM Splash Guards!!!!!

No Spoiler... the after-market spoiler takes away the fluidity and smoothness of the car, which makes the design/uniqueness of the G so great.

It really depend what you are looking for. Without the spoiler, the car looks very classy; with the spoiler, it looks more sporty. I have mine with a factory spoiler and I like the way it looks on Black.

I didn't like the look of the stock spoiler either. Too flat and boring for me. I decided to make it a little more agressive. The design came out great and the CNC prototype is almost done. I think it is a great mix of suttle and agressive. Flat "wing tips" will be replaced with up-angled wings that are slightly longer. The angle matches that on the rear tail lights. I should have the completed piece back in a week, I'm stoked! If it comes out as well as I am thinking, I might put it into a limited production. We'll see about that though, I might be the only one that likes it!

Here is a pic of the new design on top of a towel, on top of the stock wing.

If the spoiler is effective in adding more stability at high speed then that would put more weight in favor of the spoiler.

I don't travel about at high speed. I like having low insurance rates and living.
I do like to get up to speed quickly, though.
