Nav Screen Turned Off

Yesterday due to the extreme heat in my area, my navigation screen turned off. I think the message displayed " Due to extreme heat, navigation will be unavailable" of something like that. Does this mess up my navigation? Has this happened to anyone else?

Re: Nav Screen Turned Off

Shouldn't mess up the settings. They are retained just like when you disconnect the battery. You might lose the Average MPG's which would then display ****, but that's about it.

"Extreme Heat" what the hell is that? It's been so long I forgot.

I think the outside air was 100 degrees when I turned on my car, inside was even hotter. I even burned my hand on the metal plate on the shifter...lol

Yeh it's not that bad here usually. This year is an exception tho. Winter too cold, Spring too wet, Summer-----who knows. We get a little sun if we're lucky to melt the snow for a few weeks.........
.. and this is the better part of 'Canadaland'. God knows what it's doing up north........
