SO this NAV comes with a passenger who can also carry a conversation with you? Cool.....but that adds too much weight to the car.....slows down your time.....

oh.. simply hit the "race" button and the passenger (Kyo) will get out and pee on the other guys car then it'll start finding its way home..

You mean this mod is direct tape on. That's cool though. You could hold quite a few maps in the cubby.

Later,

nope, no tape required.. you can even close the cubby

it's too bad MapQuest is horrible at giving directions. i managed to confuse the hell of the Nav in downtown Philly this weekend. probably due to how narrow and compact the blocks are.

Try maps.google.com! even satalite photos... pretty damn spiffy! I've often had to use this system for new un-navi-tized roads around me... @__@

The server (or something) died a while ago and a lot of old pictures are gone. Maybe pm the thread starter for a repost...

I use a TomTom 300 and it works good. Last year I paid $700 you can pick up the same one for about $350 new!!! The best part about it is I can put it in that little cubby hole to keep it out of thugs eyes.

Go 3rd party.. It's cheaper, portable, and will be easier to fix if there ever is a problem.

I think you meant cubby not hubby. Cubby is where you keep the navi, hubby is the one that does not ask directions LOL

Haha, I think that's why it is a joke? The "Hubby" has the paper map and hence, will not ask for directions. hehe
