2005 19" wheels
Hi
i scratched my oem 19" rim, is there anyway to fix it ? i've asked around but seems like because of the color of the rim it cant be repaint (at least that's what they told me) does any know if it can be repaired or not ?
thanks

My wheel for some reason had a few scratches on the rear/passenger side. One was pretty big/deep scratch. I took it back to the dealer and they somehow fixed it. I think they repaint them and blend the paint to match the original paint. Not sure how much it costs though since mine was a new car warranty issue.

just do a search online for wheel repair shops in your area. i curb rashed my car like a week after i got it, but luckily it was too small to be anywehre near noticeable. but there are a million wheel repair places that can fix scratches, curb rash, and even major dents.

i might just try have infiniti to repair it since if they can offer warranty for the rims in US they might be able to fix it in here canada
I curbed one of my wheels too. Just 5 days after getting it. It's a tiny scratch, but I was fuming..lol! I can still hear that sound....arghhh!
Luckily it was so small it's hard to notice, but I'm officially parking like 2 feet from the curb now. Cali allows you to be 18" from the curb so I'm defintely going that route.
Worst case scenario, some idiot takes off your side mirror hauling ***. It's much easier to replace that, than a f'd up 19" rim...

Do an online or YP search for wheel repair in your area. There are bound to be numerous places and I would expect they can repair and match very well. I have had rims redone myself at a local shop and they did a nice job.
