trade g35 for m3

Just casting a line out, you never know. Anyone out there have a bmw m3 e46 that wants to trade for a 2005 auto coupe silver w/ graphite int? It beats selling the car you have and buying a new one. I live in miami, fl.

I was thinking a used m3 and a little cash, I know it sounds crazy, but if someone out there has a two or three year old m3 and wants the coupe it would be better than letting the dealer rape you on the trade and the purchase.

why would anyone trade a late year M3 for a G35???

maybe if they can't afford the maintence after the warranty is up.

Sometimes you need more than just a "line" to make a catch like the proper "bait" and "hook"....if you know what I mean.

But seriously speaking, you'd have a much easier time selling your car and buying a used M sooner than finding someone willing to do the trade...

I went from a 2002 M3 to a G35 - with the type of trade you're talking about you'd be getting a 25-35K milage car in return that would most likely be a 2001-2002 coming off warranty within a year. Even assuming the recalls were done (correctly), you are playing with fire.....and could be in for a world of hurt.

To the poster that suggested an E36 330, there's no such thing. Is it an E36 OR a 330 (E46)?

E46 M3 is better than G35 all around... except reliability. I don't think I would trade E46 M3 for G35. I personally would have gone for M3 if I had the money.

If you can, get the M3. Trying to convince my dad to get one right now. Basically, it's a G35coupe, but better in virtually every aspect. Body design and reliability can be debated, but the rest goes to the M3 hands down.
