Program New Remote

Hey I just got a remote fob from my brothers friend whom might I add HAD a 350z. Basically its the same remote as my current but I have no clue on how to program it. Yes I have tried searching. I heard that you twist the key to the on position 10 times and the blinkers should blink. Then I press the lock button on the new remote. I tried it several times and yet I can't even get the thing to blink after even about 30 twists of the on ignition.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow! I thought only the dealer could add a remote. I'm not doing this now, but I didn't understand how to add a 2nd remote. What happens with and after step 5?

Thanks,

I too thought only the dealer had to program keys and remotes. Thanks for posting the procedure.

I shut the horn off when I picked it up, as I thought that could be done because my I30 did it. But programming a new remote-fob? Big News! Thanks again.
