NAV Update Ques?

Does anyone know if the updates for the NAV are just new discs that have updated street and resturant names or if the new discs when they come out will be an entire new program that changes the look and feel of the NAV system?

Personally if there were no changes other than street names and such I dont see any reason to get the update the disc when it becomes avaliable but if it say, offered more options, and maybe had a new and improved look and feel to the whole program it might be worth it. Anyone know wha tthe deal is with the updates?

The updated dvd is available at zenrin.com. There description of the updated version 6.1 sounds like only street and POI updates.

Re: NAV Update Ques?

I've had both versions. One in my Sedan and the other in my Coupe. Both versions have the same data for my area , including my street's mis-spelled name, and several other errors I notified them of.
I don't think changes show up very often. Certainly not annually. So I won't be buying a new one any time soon.
Format, feel, function are all the same......Just changes in street names, specific locations, new buildings etc.

What I want to know is, how do I get a version that kills that damn "AGREE" screen every time it starts up.

That is a 'PITA' for sure bro. Someone with more knowledge about software than me would have to answer that one.
It is a totally unnecesary step every time you want to use it, and would be nice to get around that.

Yeah that does have to go. I mean if you payed the 2k for the friggin system then what do they expect you to do? Not agree that they arent responsible if you kill yourself using it. At least I assume thats what it says I never actually took the time to read it.
