My car's progress
 

I thought I would start a thread that I can post all my changes to so that I don't have to make a new one for each thing I do. I plan on having the car a while and will be slowly and subtly modding it. I am looking for a dependable daily driver now so I can park the G for the daily commute and keep her nice. I bought the car with window tint already. I think it's 20% rear and quarters, 30% doors, but I am not sure.

The first thing I did was get some marker and tail lamp overlays from BlueBatMobile. Click here for the thread and pics. Still contemplating the GTR headlamp overlays, so opinions welcome. Then I bought a Z-tube and K&N drop in filter and put those on. Last weekend I decided to debadge the "INFINITI" emblem from the trunk. Drove that for a week and decided the "G35" would have to go too, I did that today. Here's some shots:

I plan on doing some exhaust upgrades next, then suspension, then rims/tires. Not sure how much further than that I will go, but you never know. I also want to do the vid-navi conversion and relocate the navi dvd unit to install a dvd player in that spot...and of course do something with the audio. And I am a photography whore, so I'll be posting some pics of the progress during my stay here. If anyones interested, there's a link "PIX" in my sig for my gallery pictures. Nice, sounds like you're having fun. Plan to do anything about the spoiler, it's growing on me but the rear without it looks very nice too. The dealer had a Silver, DG, and Desert Mist all lined up, the DG had the spoiler, it gave a good compraro of those colors side by side and the spoiler/less look.
My luck if I get a G it'll have the spoiler, same issue as on my CLS.

Looks good mike, no reason to go Lakeshore slate next year, you've got a nice car already! Can't wait to get my damn car so I can follow you with some of the mods :D

AustNMike since you are an expert on the Bat's overlays would you mind giving me a hand when I get mine in? I really do not want to screw anything up. Let me know if you are willing to help me out. Thanks

I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I have one car under my belt....I wouldn't mind helping you out, but mine aren't perfect either....PM me when you get them in....which overlays are you getting?

mrb, the lakeshore slate is just growing on me so much....and then there are the other 05 changes.....we'll see...I may keep this one longer...

Ron, the Mt.Fuji is just what some people call the Infiniti logo emblem. Let me know before you get your G, we can put it up on a lift and check it over real good.
