G35 Coupe pricing

Anyone recently bought a new coupe? Was wondering about 2005 pricing. As a benchmark only, carsdirect.com (I know they are expensive) is doing about $2k off of them now (msrp 35,610 vs 33,659 for the car I selected). One dealer said he'd do "invoice price" on a coupe.

What's been everyone's recent experience? Posting your car's msrp vs what you paid should standardize things for optional equipment selected! I'm in the greater los angeles area. Thanks.

Which dealer offered you invoice price? I'm assuming it's for an automatic because there are no more 6MT's in so-cal, from what I was told from numerous dealerships.

Correct. It's for an automatic. No wonder. I guess people are hot for the 6 speeds. There's a lot of automatics out there in inventory.

I actually got offered $37K out the door for a 6MT with Premium about a month and a half ago, but I didn't jump on it (and now totally regret). So I'm using that price as my "official" standard now for buying this car.

I stuck in my old San Diego Zip code at Infiniti's www site and found lots of 6MT's at many dealerships in "so-cal."

I just sealed the deal last night. I ordered a 5AT, Prem Pkg, Full Aero Kit (Chin spoiler, Rear spoiler, etc) and Sport pkg. MSRP $38,480, Invoice $35,045. I paid $500 over Invoice $35,545.

Sheesh. OK, type in Zip 90059 and the results are the same... numerous 6MT's are shown in local-to-you dealer inventories. (28 within 21 miles of that Zip.)

It might show on Infiniti's website that the dealer have the cars, but it does not mean car is actully is on the lot, was shopping the G couple weeks ago, and look at the site to check the inventory, but when i went to the dealership? it aint there, its either sold or someone's pre order or its due in next couple of shipment

MSRP was 37210 5AT, prem, 19's, got it for 34518, what a difference two years make but to have that new car feelings again? its priceless

by the way, just check the website? my car still show on the dealer's inventory, after an week!
