How fast on a 1/8 mile race

How fast should I expect to get up to and about what gear if I race on a 1/8 mile track. Stock 6mt coupe Thanks!!!

Prob around a 8.x - 9sec at 7x-8x mph...with a 2.2xx - 2.3xx 60'

One rule of thumb I tend to go by is that your 1/4 mile time should be 1.57 times your 1/8 mile time. So, if you are trying to see what your 1/8 mile time should be, divide your known 1/4 mile time by 1.57 and you should get a fairly accurate answer.

Why this works, I don't know. It's not scientific, but it's a good estimate.

So based on that, most G's will prolly run a 9.6. And mine would run a 8.8. Thanks...didn't know that.

But everyone knows you can't divide by a decimal. AHHHHH WAT TO DO NOW????!!!! HAHAH jp.........
