Clanking sound from rear driver area when making left turns!

hey guys

i have this annoying maybe serious problem. when i make a left turn i hear this weird clanking sound coming from the rear drivers side. Its much more noticable when i first take the car out and less noticable the longer i drive it.

Has anyone here experienced this and know what it could be? im planning to take it to the dealership to get checked out but hope its nothing major.

what year is it? a clicking noise could be the mechanical limited slip diff or it could be a loose axle. The dealer should be able to diagnose it.

I'm not sure if the 04's had the mechanical LSD or the viscous one. If it is the diff, it is normal. But you probably have a loose axle so they will have to tighten up the mounting brackets. Check out the TSB listings at http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi...5/Diagnose.htm

It may be something serious that the dealer can help with, but first check the trunk for any loose tools or spare etc.
