Unhappy Speaking of Friday the 13th...

So I start the day waking up early to get a car wash so I can have the G nice and clean for the weekend. As I am trying to get out of my garage, the homelink button starts acting up. I move forward and backward trying different angles to get the damn gate open. Keep in mind in the last year that I have had my car, the homelink button has never acted up. I start to get frustrated and before you know it I hear a horrible crunching sound. I'll let the pics speak for itself...

I'll be getting estimates on Monday. How much do you guys think this'll cost?
Guess my rims will be put on hold

I have similar damage yet to be repaired. I had a few estimates done, mine came to around $850 (car was hit in a parking lot while parked). My damages were close, but my scratches were longer but not as deep as yours. I also have half a fist sized dent over the wheel base. Will be getting mine repaired from shea stadium, as soon as I get some free time. Good luck.

Edit: added a pic so you can get an idea.. looks a lot worse because of sunlight, but I think your damages might be more? unsure.

You're not alone guy. I ripped the right side rear view mirror backing out of my garage a few months ago.

Of course I blamed my wife for parking her car so close to mine that I had to swing more to the right to avoid hitting her car. It cost me around $600 CDN ($475 US - approx).

As for your damage, I'd say it'll run you around $1K plus.

Ouch! Guys, I sorry to see and hear of such damage. I've only had some minor damage to the bumpers (I had the rear completely replaced) The cost was about $650.00 for the rear bumper replaced and repainted. But that is less work I assume than repairing the metal portions of the body like that. I went to M2 collision for my repairs, I don't know who you all will use but they worked great for me.

Later,

Ray
