Well I guess the potential owners of the other cars won't be thrilled to find out their cars were taken above 120 out of the box....

How would the other potential owners find out? Like everyone else has said excellent write up. To the person who said these cars arent in the same class i beleive you can find ten's of threads on this board comparing there performance everyday. And i'd say he was basing the comparo on money and how much he was willing to spend so they all fit in the same category

I'd love to do a review about wheels for a G, however that is strictly a matter of opinion... unless we look at it in terms of dollars, weight and size.

Even with those options, it would be a difficult write up. If you guys really would like me to evaluate them, give me the top 5 wheels and I'll be glad to offer my opinion.

Regards,
BC

IMO I'd put the 50k on the M3 with just the xenon lights. I care less for creature of comfort such as winter/premium package. It's the gold standard for sports sedans and I wouldn't settle for anything else. In the back of my mind I will always be wondering what if? The G is a great bang for the money for sure and it can be faster than the M while saving couple grand, but at cost of voided warranty.

The write up is very nice but I think you should try out the new 3 or wait for the new IS350 to come out. EVO, STI and and M3 are on the more extreme side of the spectrum I think the A4, e90 330 and IS350 will be a comparable comparsion both in power and price range. I am sure the mod for 330, Is350 and A4 will be endless as well. The M3 is at least 10k more than any of the 3 other cars you reviewed so I dont think it's fair to count it in. However, I understand you are just comparing sports sedans/coupes so in that sense it's fair to include it. I really appreciate your write up and keep up the good work.

I love my M3 and IMO none of those cars can touch it , sorry! You are right about the modding an M3, it took me about 15k on my motor+ to get nearly 500 RWHP which is coming up soon, in amonth or so over 500RWHP + with new blower, tuning and upped boost! Band the rear space depedning on how big you are, and im 6"2 225 lbs my friends who are also over 6" have ALOT of space int he back seats unlike the gcoupe or even WRX

Wheels Summary -

Stock 18 - common, classy, heavier than aftermarket, not wide enough
Stock 19 - light, cheap, common, new 5X2 spoke design, not quite wide enough
Volk Racing 19 - some light, some heavier, pricy, 'played out' (whatever that means)
Works 19 - I don't really get it, they are not pretty, not very light, and not cheap.
HRE 19 - very expensive, looks European and expensive, light, very expensive
350Z Wheels - why? they are heavier than G wheels

What else?

Not true, I've taken my car to 140 MPH and it felt just fine. Sounds like an alignment issue.

Great read. Money being no object then M3 would win. Otherwise once $ is factored in G35 becomes the best performer.
