Damaged G, Angry Man

So I went to Burger King to pick up my favorite meal, A Large Number 3 (thats an Angus burger with large fries for you nubs) with bacon and chiz. And apparently, burger king has a new game! I peeled off the ticket on my fries and scratched off the thingy.

It read "Congradulations *******, you win a ****ed bumper""

(I really didn't win anything) But when I parked there, (OEM LIP) Some screws on the parking slab were not totally screwed in and owned my Lip. Its going to cost to repair this... Am I the one that should pay for some stupid constrution corner cut?

I would be talking the manager of BK, tell them to fix your lip or free BK fo life!

Seriously, I would think they are liable for that.

I was the manager, I'll say "it's your fault for parking too close...."

My sister's BMW front bumper had similar fate when she damaged the front bumper as the screws were not all the way in. It was at her appartment complex underground garage. Apt complex payed for the repairs.

You should get it fixed from BK for free

or that #3 for life (although you might not live that long after this deal )

Sorry to hear .... but it's like saying ... The parking lot is too close to the airplane hanger ... Who is at fault if I hit a 747? The block or curb is nothing more then a guide for you to inch up on. You drive over it .. It's your fault. Sorry man

Sorry to hear this but if I were the BK guy I'd put the fault on the driver. The driver is resposible for clearing his vehicle. If you hit a new pothole in the parking lot and bent your rim, would it be their fault for failing to maintain a smooth driving surface in their facility? I suppose an argument could be made.

Maybe if you just talk to the guy he'll hook you up - stranger stuff has happened. Good luck.

The G has a low bumper I always look out for those stupid things. I've seen so many of those concrete things too high for my bumper, so I assume they all would hit it so I don't even try to come too close to any of them. This is one of those gray areas. You did technically hit it which can make the claim hard if BK wants to fight u on it, but since it is an unusual hazard you might be able to get something for it. Sorry to hear about your accident; I don't envy you.

I wouldnt drive my front end over a parking slab - bolts or no bolts. Sorry to hear but I don't think you have much cause for action against BK.
