Z tube Question

Hey I just slapped on my Z tube from my former car. hence the Z. The car is def a bit louder at higher rpm's. Now my question is, does it give any power gains?

In fact at Central FL Dyno Day last year several people with Z tube only consistently ran 4-5hp higher than bone stock. Before someone decides to disagree, those numbers are AT PEAK. All you're getting is a 3" intake tube instead of 2.5".

I'm sure the gain is minimal but, at least you didn't loose anything hp (heard rumors that some aftermarket intakes loss hp compared to factory?).
