WTF is up with my HP?
Took my car in to Southpaw Racing for some dyno runs on their Dynojet machine today, we did 2 runs in 4th and one run in 3rd. They were not sure of the correct gear to use on the 5AT so I jumped on g35driver and found out that 4th is the 1:1 gear
We threw out the 3rd gear run after that.
Anyway, after looking at other dyno reports on this site I was very disappointed with my numbers:
203 max hp and 208 max torque??? It was only 60 out, garage was open and no exhaust tubes or anything hooked on the car.
WTF is up with that? I expected better with CAI, TD exhaust and Grounding Gear on the car!!
Southpaw has a new Dynojet machine, and they stated the older Dynojet models had a tendency to inflate numbers.
So should I get another dyno done somewhere else?

3 questions:
1) how many miles on your car?
2) did you break the engine in properly?
3) what kind of gas are you using?
Also, if the dyno is cold, it will give you lower numbers. I would ask the shop to let you run it in for a couple minutes before doing your run.

If they have a new dynojet machine and all their customers are also reporting lower than expected dyno numbers, I would think that there is a significant possibility that their new dynojet is not calibrated properly.

1) 11k miles on the car
2) broke it in per owners manual
3) 93 octane
The dyno was dead cold, they had to turn it on.
Also, I did the Easy ECU reset after my last install, that was the Grounding Gear about 200 miles ago.
I am gonna get it dyno'd two other places, if they are close to each other but higher than Southpaw, I will recommend to them that they check their dyno and ask for a partial refund
