I went into this dealer in Santa Monica (im not going to name names) and told them that I had the Satellite Radio Kit and wanted it to be installed. I knew beforehand from you guys that it wouldnt take that long and it should be easy. So I thought ok they will be homies and hook it up with a install. The guy tells me its a laborious process, takes 5-6 hours and is around 550 dollars. Im sorry but I cant afford 550 dollars when i got the kit for more than half the price itself!!! Can anybody help? I would be so appreciative if someone can help.

 

If you have ever hooked up a VCR to your TV at home, you can install the SAT radio kit. It is that easy. This assumes, of course, that your vehicle is prewired to accept the SAT kit. Look for my two posts on this subject. "SAT install it yourself", and SAT install it yourself Tip #2.' The earlier one was 5/30/03, and the second one was today. 6/3/03. Both of these should be of some help.
