hey everyone, i got my car today... i picked it up after work and boy do i have to get used to it. i'm so used to used and abused honda's, but this is bigger and better. i love the car! but it's raining and i can't really enjoy it as much. i really need to practice because my driving in the G is really shaky. i hate it, but i'll get used to it soon. i just hope it doesn't rain tomorrow and if it does i'm not driving it til the sun comes out.

Small suggestion, Princess? If it rains more than twice a year where you live, it could actually be an excellent tutor. Take it to a parking lot like a high school (after school) and try it out. Do a couple of hard on the brakes for lockup to see what the anti locks feel like. Turn hard with steady state rate of speed and see how the traction control helps you out. I understand what your concerns are, but you'll get to enjoy it all. Just don't let any of that new stuff surprise you; if you try it out now, it won't.

Congratulations! Bummer about the rain....

Make sure the car is past the break-in period prior to doing the above suggestion. No better way to get to know a car than an empty parking lot.

Its been raining almost every day in June and the forecast says more rain for a while. Its not like this is the only day its rained of late.
