Uhm ok. For those of you in California posting these pictures online. Are you thinking about what you're doing? If these are illegal here in Cali, you know how easy a federal agency can track you? Forum->ISP->Your house. A warrant shouldn't be too hard to get in these times if you're going to incriminate yourself.
I'm confused as to why anyone would willingly flaunt their illegal posessions. It's on par with an auto-theft joyride around the police station.
Don't get me wrong, these guns are cool and I'd like to have a couple of them. I'm not bitching or anything, I just want to know if people understand that the Internet is not an anonymous medium anymore? If someone wanted to find you, they will. Especially if they have badges and a warrant.

LEGALLY, they could not get a warrant, but you're right, its better to be safe than sorry, especially living in an unconstitutional state like the People's Republic of Kalistan!
That's why I asked him what state he housed his weapons in, since it is very VERY obvious to an expert like me that he's got some pretty cool class III weapons, including the SBR. ALL of which require a tax stamp and fed papers. That leads me to believe he's housing them in AZ, TX, NV or another CIII state.
Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about search warrants, there isn't a connection between where he's posting the pics and where they are being housed. For all we know he's a college student in CA and his family is in NV, RIGHT? [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Hey Balzac...those are airsoft guns. They shoot 6mm plastic bb's.
Airsoft is a huge sport in Japan...It's equivalent to Paintball here. They're 1:1 replicas called AEG's (Automatic Electric Guns). Except for the MAC10 which is a GBB(Gas blow-back). Each shoots fully automatic, around 600-900 rounds per minute. They are all made by Tokyo Mauri, the main brand for airsoft, except for the Mac10...which is made by KSC.

That's one of many overseas dealers. Just go into the AEG section on the left and then Tokyo Mauri and you'll see what i'm talking about. All different types of guns ranging from SIG's to a classic M1A1 thompson. They even made a M134 Vulcan that shot ~3000-6000 bb's per minute. Used a battery to spin the barrels and a compressed air tank to propel them. But that will set you back around 6k because they stopped making them back in late 80's i believe
So nothing illegal going on here...excpet for that there is no orange barrel paint signifying that it is a replica. But that doesn't matter as long as he doesn't do anythign stupid...

I was shocked when I moved to Kalifornia...or better known as Peoples Republick Of Kalifornia....gun laws here are rediculously stupid. Having lived all over the country I find Kalifornia to be an abnormal State considering the rest of the good ole USA.......it really needs to be it's own country............my personal opinion. Hopefully when we visit Disney Land all we should need is a US passport!!!!! Nevada is a renegade State which surprising is so opposite it's neighbor.

If you don't like it remember that no one is making you stay/no one is making you come here. Unless you're on probation, please feel free to move to other states more to your standards. If people don't like it they are always free to leave, I don't understand how people complain yet they don't try to do anything.
Lets not start another "gun rights" debate as 90% of this thread should already be in off-topic. People do stupid things when they are put on the spot, I'd hate to see a road-rage incident turn into murder. It's happened before, it will happen again. Don't take this the wrong way, i'm not against guns, and I'm all for a perfect government/country as are most of you.

By the way, you fooled me with those guns, well, except for the G36...that one I was VERY skeptical about!
As for Kalifornia....no offense to the GOOD people living there or anything, but your politicians and laws are frikkin atrocious. I can't claim NY's politicians are superior (think Hitlery and Schmucker), but atleast our governor hasn't created "terrorists" and criminals out of peaceful gun owners. So guess what? That's why I'll never move to KA!
The only glint of hope is your 9th Circuit, which has just had a couple of split decisions with the dissent falling in favor of the individual rights model of the 2nd Amendment.
And yes, this thread is somewhat hijacked, but its still civil and definately worthwhile, but don't just defend KA because its your home, you all should be trying to change it! Getting rid of Gray Davis would be an AMAZING start, then Diane Fineswine to follow.
I can type on this all night, but I'll spare you fine G riders the boredom!

I never had a problem in Kila Kali...
No regret's so far... As long as I work, pay bills and this beautiful weather right next to the coast never leaves I ain't moving no where...
Maybe I'm living in the right place in Cali, but other then that I've been a happy camper my whole life...
Never touched snow in my life and don't plan on wanting too... It's bad enough it rains once every few to three months... other then that it's all fun in the sun... cruising that coast is also what got's me locked in Cali.. oh and the ladies in thong's at Venice Beach on a regular basis is a must also... whew...

heh the main reason you're skeptical about the G36 is probably the magazine, which is made to look like it's taking 5.56 staggard. It's actually just a clear outer casing and plastic hollow bullets to give that appearance. It doesn't eject any shells either, nor do any of them.
But that's what airsoft is all about. It's what paintball will never be...realistic. No dodging .68 calibur paintballs. Airsoft's made to exact specs, and the only way to tell them apart from real steel is to hold them. That's when you'll see they're made of a very hard polymer. But that's what metal recievers are for
anyway it's a fun/safe way for people to get "dream" pieces.

Actually, the reason is because they were never imported!!! We only got that H&K SL-8 POS. Otherwise, I believe the clear mags are to spec. Nice guns though, how far do they shoot and do they hurt if shot by one?

They all shoot at about the same. Stock they come in at ~280 fps and will leave a small welt when hit. But then you can upgrade them to 500+ fps, but most fields have a limit set at ~350 fps. That will get you a range of about 70 or 80 yards effective.
What's really neat about it is it uses a system called "hop-up," or high operation up. It creates a backspin to counteract the effects of gravity so the bullets fly far and fly in very straight lines for long distances.
