Wow, it's that clear in your mind? I haven't even cast a vote in my own poll because I haven't been able to make up my mind between about 4 cars. Put a G back in the mix though, and the choice is easy.
Given that most of your choices are "pure" sports cars, why not the Z? I ask because I'm actually in the same boat. I would look at other sports cars, but the Z would be an unlikely pick. I think perhaps it's because I already know what the Z's got from driving my G, and thus it's lost its exotic appeal. I wonder if Z owners feel that way too, that they'd look at the TT or S60R but not the G?

interesting results so far...only 1 vote for the G35 sedan.
seems like when the rubber meets the road, coupe owners don't appreciate the G for anything other than its looks, coupe-wise. otherwise, there should be more sedan votes. they are virtually identical cars...

g35doman, not necessarily. They are much more different than you think. The Coupe's ride is very different and is much stiffer - after having driven the coupe and had the sedan for a loaner, I did not feel like I was driving the same car at all. I did find myself longing for my coupe though.

My search came down to the 330Ci and the G Coupe, so I'd have to say the BMW. With that said, I would still consider the 350Z and a Corvette Coupe. I've always been in love with MKIV Supras as well and will own a 98 6-speed turbo one day as a second car (or third or forth I hope)!!

Before the Coupe I was looking at E46 M3 or MB C32 AMG. Bigger bucks than the Coupe, but give you basic sport power and luxury. However the Coupe gives you those same qualities, but for 2/3 the price.
Long Story Short, thank God we have the Coupe.
In reality though, I would probably by sedan on cuz of price against M3 and C32.
approx 5 more days till the coupe and counting. I am going insane.

I voted for the Jaguar X-Type (couldn't afford an S-Type though).
When I was shopping for my new vehicle, that's what it came down to. Although I have nothing against BMW, I couldn't see myself getting a 3 or 5 series... I didn't want to be just one more amongst a sea of them already on the road, I wanted something a little different. Plus, the X-Type is AWD, a real bonus in my neck of the woods (NE PA).
But, the X didn't have nearly the power I wanted, and less features for the money.
No doubt, any car on that list is a second choice to the G35 Coupe!! :-)
