It seems that the 05s are getting slower times than the 03s and 04s. While they all vary by different tests, I always see the 05's in the high 5's, and I always remembered seeing the 03 and 04 running 5.5's. Not a huge difference, but its still a difference none the less.

the 05 AT didnt lose any torque or HP shouldn't it be the same speed as the 04 and 03 then?

Yeah, the 5AT's are the same.

Only change was with the 6MT, which didnt look like it was a beneficial engine change. The same thing happened with the 350Z. They added hp there up to an even 300hp, but took away the torque and those too resulted in slower 0-60 times.

This is what I've been saying all along.....the 19 inch wheels combined with a torque decrease do no favors regarding the 0-60.

I noticed the website has the 300 hp 350z .1 second faster than the regular 350z

I think the upgraded premium leather, wheels, and the aluminum trim has increased the weight to a point where it was necessary to increase hp. ; )

<flame suit on>

I think the performance numbers are close to the same if not slightly better in the 1/4+.
