You can do brakes yourself if you have the proper tools and a moderate amount of mechanical ability.

I want/plan to do that too at some point.

Are you going with the 14in or 13in kit?

I think i will probably end up looking for some 03/04 brembos only because i know the calipers/rotors for them will fit under my 17in winter wheels. I'm not sure about the stoptechs... and am not all that experienced with trying to figure that out.

Does anyone know if the brake bias for the 05's is different from the 04's?

WHY? Increasing clamping force or rotor diameter will not decrease stopping distance. Only resistance to fade is achieved. Is it for looks?

I have the stoptech 14" kit for my '05 6MT that I'm going to do myself. I'm waiting on the rears, as they shipped 13" rears by mistake.

It doesn't look too bad, I'll post when I've got them done but it won't be till mid-June. New rears don't ship till June 3.

Learn how to spell before you start flaming someone.

Braking is not so simple as throwing bigger brakes on, then you stop quicker. The stock brakes can already lock up your wheels, so you need to look at friction (wider tires, better rubber compound, etc), brake bias (bigger brakes with wrong bias can actually increase stopping distance), suspension setup on the car, etc. in addition to clamping force.

Braking distance can also be decreased by going with wider tires and better pads.

Just because you slap bigger brakes does not mean that you get shorter stopping distance.

And, by the way, I am the sharpest crayon in the box. -jk
