Lets see...
I'll turn 20 on July 3rd.
I pay just over $3200 a year.
Record: 1 ticket, which I took adriving class for. 1 accident, not my fault.
I believe I am with State Farm.

Jesus Christ, some of you guys are being ***-raped for insurance...

21 year old male
No accidents/tickets
735 per 6 months - Progressive - My policy, not parents.

When I originally signed up, an accident that was someone else's fault (They ran a stop sign and T-boned me) showed up as my fault, and they tried to jack up my rate to 1140 per 6 months, but after I sent in the proof saying it was the other person's fault, they reduced it back to $735.

Texas
25 year old male
No tickets/ No accidents (none that I was at fault)
495 per 6 months
Farmers Insurance

And I thought I could find something less expensive... I'm starting to feel better with the quote I have.

Ohio
20 yrs old male
About 5 moving violations and 2 accidents on my record(1 is my fault)
almost 2000 for liability and comprehensive coverage. No collision coverage.
Progressive

Yup, my rates suck because of my crappy record. Having fast cars at young age doesn't really do much good for clean record... I haven't got a ticket for about a year and half. Hopefully the rates will start to drop...

A lot goes into your rate depending on WHERE YOU LIVE. Most of the people on this thread aren't putting WHERE they are insured.

22 yrs young
$1080/6 months
1 fender bender
USAA
Rate will go down $50/month after this term (fender bender) which will take it to $780/month.
I live in San Francisco.

That's right, I'm paying $1400 in SFL, I requested a quote for the same coverage in CFL and was told $800/6mo. We're getting raped down here.

Blew Through a Stop Sign in my other car (Dodge Avenger), other than that was taken to jail for excessive speeding on I-75 (clocked @ 126mph in a 65) pleaded "No Low", so didn't effect anything.

Allstate Insurance

$670 a year (Weekend/Third Vehicle)

That's a great deal, what company are you with and where? You must be getting some sort of special discount I imagine. I'm paying $160CAD/month for a 2002 RSX-S at the moment (in the process of getting a G)
