Im still under $6,000 for now. But when I get back from Afghanistan it'll be on paranormal style, so I wouldnt be surprised if I dropped another $15K-$20K.

Here's the catch though, how many of us have dumped all this money into our rides before its paid off? I'll admit, I still owe a little, but it should be paid off before the built engine/TT.

How fun would it be to have a completely stock paid off G? Well it would be fun, but not as fun a completely tricked out G that you still owe some money.

That's one reason why mine is not paid for......I just bought my 3rd home. I have one investment and the other one I live in now. When the one I just bought is completed I will move into that one and sell the one I am in right now. Real Estate is hot in SFL.

What part of CA you in? Real Estate is even crazier there than here
I went to look at another pre-construction today and it is just getting out of control. They wanted a $5000 check and a registration form to put your name in a lottery. If your name is pulled then you have to give a 20% lump sum down payment immediately. When I bought my first home 5 years ago it was only 5% dp and they gave me a 6 month payment plan.

I bought my house new on 23rd december 2003, at 400,000 now 18 months later it is valued at 595K not a bad investment in my opinion. I live N. cal not far from Sacremento.
The other 2 I bought this year are both in AZ and are rental investments, rented out in 1 year contracts.
I did the lottery thing which is just stupid as I was first in line and a guy who just walked in, won the house I was going for, put me back 2 months until I got the chance to win my own......talk about rideculous.

Sorry for off the subject chit chat.

the question in this thread is "how much have YOU spent on your G" and not "how much ahve your parents spent on the G" =]

j/p

but near the end of the summer i'll have dropped around a good $8k on the G (thru my summer job for 4 months this summer i'll probably end up making a little over $6k)

i've got the RH Pro J5 SBC finish w/ Toyo T1S, the HKS Hi-Flo Ti Full Catback (got it new for $1300USD ), the Blitz Intake, Grounding kit, the full replica kenstyle kit, a $500 sound system and small things like clears/emblems/bulbs

wanted to squeeze in the headers, but it'll probably have to wait til christmas time when i earn enough $$

You do the math, it's too painful for me to add it all up plus the wife might see the amount and give me a hard time about the Vortec I have plans on getting.

Crawford Headers (plus install)
Crawford Plenum
Crawford H/F cats with extra O2 sensor bung *planning ahead for FI (plus install)
Random Technology H/F Cats which I gave for free to a good friend (plus install)
Crawford billet oil cap
z-tube
Popcharger (sold)
K&N Pannel Filter
JIC Y-Pipe (plus install)
TEIN H-Tech Springs (plus install)
PIAA Super Rozza's, 19x9.0 and 19x10.0
Toyo Proxies- T1S (255/35/19 and 275/35/19)
Painted side mirrors supports
Aluminum Pedals
30% Llumar Tint (plus re-tinted rear window)
Clear Bra
KP Technologies Window Roll up Module
KP Technologies VDC Module
KP Technologies Shift Light

Then there's the whole effort of starting the Florida G35 Club with countless hours dedicated to getting that up and runnin... That's gotta be worth something, no?
