I had the same issue when I had my D/G Coupe. A neighbour bought the same ride. Only 2 in my town, and on the same street.

3 months before I was planning on getting a DG coupe my next door neighbor buys one

 

There's 3 g35 sedans on my block alone and another black 6MT coupe just like mine on the next block. I dont think we bought these cars hoping they would be rare though. If that was the case I would have stuck with my Supra TT...
I've seen maybe 4 on the street in my 2 years of owning that car.
