Is is possible to get OTD (out the door, include tax and other fees) price of <= 33,000 for 6MT 05 WITH Premium ????

This is my budget.

I wouldn't think so, but perhaps some others here are better negotiators than I am. Mine was a bit more than that without premium.

ANYTHING is possible. I bet you a dollar to a do-nut that someone here will speak up and say that they have been successful doing what you hope to do.

My advice - do dealer inventory searches and find something close to your model, then send the dealers a pinger with your offer - see what they come back with. Hit different geographical areas and survey several dealerships.

If nothing else, your quotes will help you negotiate if you get something in your ballpark at a dealer nearby. If you don't get anything local but do get the deal you're looking for, you'll have to decide if you want to travel.

Good luck, and I hope you pull it off.

Depends where do you live? That tax can be as high as 8%. I live in VA and have 3.1% tax. Best I could do was $34,500 OTD. 2005 Premium with XM and 3 year oil change.

Best I'm offerd in TX so far with 6.25% tax is $37,4xx OTD for 2005 6mt premium and aero package trunk mat ordered from factory. Base invoice is around $33k invoice without any options. So I think that price is gonna be really really hard to get. Check on edmunds.com

will be alot easier to get that price at that point

Thanks for posting your replies. I think I can wait until August or so.
I so desperately want this car. Am not sure when 06's will start rolling.

The 06 6MT won't start rolling before December since the 05 just came out in January. The dealer's invoice for a coupe with Premium only is $33,393. That means you have to get it way below dealer's cost (as much as $1600 under invoice with say sales tax @ 6%). Just to give you an idea, on here it is considered a great deal if someone gets their car for $500-1000 over invoice, depending on your area.

I am looking for an 05mt in Charlotte. I can't find that good of a deal here. I would drive to VA for the same deal, who was the dealer and salesman?

Yeah, I bought my car at Lake Norman Infiniti. They wouldn't budge but a little bit...

Dealer tells me they will stop ordering 05's at the end of June and 06's should be here sometime in October/September

This is for the automatics.. the first 05s came out in October 04. For the 6MT you'll have to wait a little longer. If the 6MT comes out earlier (October - November), that means the 05 production period will be shortened compared to other years so less 05's will be produced than in previous years. Or they can make an equal amount of 05's in less time and flood the market. It is possible that they'll make fewer cars in the second 2 years of production than in first 2 years.
